8.3.7.4
RunScore 8.3.7.4 resolves critical crashes when viewing results from the Client and when receiving null point-of-read data from external timers.
This release also improves ChronoTrack and MyLaps connectivity with real-time status display, support for up to 50 simultaneous connections, and automatic reconnection within 20 seconds.
Bug Fixes
- RS-1407 — Client Results View Crash: Fixed memory corruption in the paint function by moving pointer allocation from stack to heap memory.
- RS-1411 — External Timer Null Point of Read: Added input sanitization when external timers (e.g., MyLaps) send a null point of read such as "5KSplit".
Improvements
- RS-1393, RS-1402 — Simple Client and Fusion Differentiation: RunScore now distinguishes Simple Client (0.6.0) from Fusion (1.2.3), displays real-time connection status, and supports up to 50 mixed connections on the same port.
- RS-1421 — Connection Termination Handling: When a connection closes, RunScore releases resources and re-initiates the server on the designated port, enabling MyLaps to reconnect within 20 seconds.
