Introduction
Race Configuration
This section manages race-specific settings, SMS configurations, field mappings, custom variables, and fonts and background colors for entry and results displays.
Results Options
The following commands let you customise the Results display. They can also be set from the Results Options menu in the RunScore UI.
Enter Options
The following commands allow you to customise the Enter display.
SMS Options
SMS (Short Message Service) — commonly known as "texting" — allows RunScore to connect with SMS service providers and deliver reliable texting functionality to race participants.
Field Mapping
RunScore includes features such as age processing that depend on specific, named database fields. These fields are mapped in Entries.ini using the commands below.
Custom Variables
RunScore lets you define custom variables in Entries.ini for use in RSM or listing files. This allows timers to build reusable RSM and listing files that work across different races — only the variable values in Entries.ini need to change, not the individual files.
Entries Configuration
The Entries Configuration section enables updating database fields for participant records. It functions similarly to listing files and consists of two parts: control and data. Records are automatically updated during participant downloads, CSV imports, and when the update-all command is executed.
