Age Field

Syntax​

Age Field           field_name

Parameters​

  • field_name: The name of the database field that contains the age to be used for age grading (e.g., RAGE, SAGE).

Description​

Specifies which field to use for age-grading calculations when the default AGE field is not the correct one.

Remarks​

This is necessary in multi-participant records (like relays or team triathlons) where multiple age fields exist (e.g., RAGE for runner, SAGE for swimmer). This command must be used with the corresponding SEX FIELD command.

Examples​

To age grade a runner's time using their specific age and sex fields:
