Syntax​

Announce Update Sec seconds

Parameters​

  • seconds: The number of seconds to delay before the Announce screen refreshes with the next finisher.

Description​

Controls the refresh rate of the Announce screen when in automatic mode, preventing information from disappearing too quickly.

Remarks​

This command is useful when there is a lot of information on the screen for the announcer to read. The screen will delay for the specified number of seconds or until the next finisher crosses, whichever is longer. Use Announce Use Last if runners are crossing faster than the refresh rate.
