Check Chip

Syntax​

Check Chip          [Header]

Parameters​

  • Header: Optional keyword. If included, the header of each field is displayed, and each field is printed on a separate line. If omitted, all fields are displayed on one line (or wrapped).

Description​

Activates a "Check Your Chip" screen that allows runners to scan their chip (in "Chip to keyboard" mode) and see their registration data to verify they have the correct chip.

Remarks​

This feature is very similar to the Announce command but displays the title "Check Your Chip." It is very handy at packet pickup to allow runners to verify their chip is assigned to the correct registration. The records/page command can control how many entries appear on the screen (e.g., set to 1 to show only the most recent scan). The Full Screen command can also be used to maximize the window. When used with Winning Time or AMB, you must select "Chip to Keyboard" in the Results/Options menu.
