Date Format

Syntax​

Date Format         format_string

Parameters​

  • format_string: A string specifying the desired date layout. Allowed values are MM/DD/YY (default), MM/DD/YYYY, DD/MM/YY, DD/MM/YYYY, YY/MM/DD, YYYY/MM/DD, or YYYY-MM-DD.

Description​

Controls the format of the date that is printed by the Date or Time Stamp commands.

Remarks​

This command is also used to set the date format for the AGE command and for date fields in entries.ini. The YYYY-MM-DD format is the ISO standard.
