Lines Per Inch / Lines/Inch

Syntax

Lines Per Inch [number]
Lines/Inch number

Parameters

  • number: The number of lines to print per vertical inch. Default is 6.

Description

Specifies the vertical line density for printed output.

Remarks

Lines Per Inch and Lines/Inch are aliases for the same command. This is particularly useful for ensuring correct vertical alignment when printing on pre-formatted media like labels. If used with a Windows font (via Font Name), specifying Lines/Inch will cause RunScore to calculate the appropriate Font Size. Conversely, specifying Font Size will cause RunScore to calculate the Lines/Inch. If both are specified, they are handled independently.

Examples

To set the printing density to 8 lines per inch:

Lines Per Inch 8

or

Lines/Inch 8
