Syntax​

Pitch               number

Parameters​

  • number: The desired number of characters per inch.

Description​

Specifies the horizontal character density (characters per inch) for printed output, primarily for fixed-pitch fonts.

Remarks​

This command has limited effect in Windows printing, which primarily uses proportionally-spaced fonts. RunScore defaults to the fixed-pitch "Courier New" font to maintain column alignment. When Pitch is specified, RunScore attempts to find a Courier New point size that matches the requested character density.
