Team Relay Laps

Syntax​

Team Laps To Rounds event_name

Parameters​

  • event_name: The name of the event containing the raw lap time data for all participants.

Description​

A process for scoring lap-based relay races. It uses the Team Laps To Rounds command to convert raw lap times into individual split times for each lap, which can then be scored using the standard Team Relay command.

Remarks​

This is a two-step process. First, a listing with Team Laps To Rounds is run to create new events (e.g., LAP1, LAP2). Second, a separate Team Relay listing is run using these new events. The final results are ranked first by the total number of laps completed, then by the total time. The No Splits command can be used to generate a summary report showing only the team's total time and fastest lap.

Step 1: Convert laps to rounds (TeamLapsToRounds.lst):
