Syntax

USATF               filename.tac

Parameters

• filename.tac: The name of a .tac file containing performance guideline times for a specific distance (e.g., 10k.tac, boston.tac).

Description

Compares runner times against USATF performance guidelines from a specified .tac file and flags noteworthy performances.

Remarks

Places an asterisk (*) next to times faster than the age-group guideline and a hash (#) next to times faster than the open guideline. A footnote explaining the symbols is automatically added to any page with a qualifying performance. Can be used with a custom Age Field for specific scenarios like Boston Marathon qualification.
