Connecting to MYLAPS Live Data

One of the most powerful aspects of RunScore's Cloud Timing integration is the ability to retrieve live data during your event. You can see real-time updates directly from your workstation as the race unfolds.

Automatic connection​

RunScore automatically attempts to connect to MYLAPS Live data when you open your race if:

  • The current computer date matches your event's race date, and
  • There are active timing periods for your event.

For auto-connection to work, open Tools → Preferences and enable Auto Connect to Cloud.

Manual connection​

If auto-connect is not enabled, or you prefer to connect manually:

  1. From the Menu Bar, select Cloud Timing, then choose Connect to MyLaps Live.
  2. A window asks you to map your cloud event to a specific event you've already set up in RunScore.
  3. Select the RunScore event you want to use for displaying this live data.
  4. Click OK.

Once connected — automatically or manually — your RunScore results screen begins updating with real-time passings, giving you an immediate, dynamic overview of the race as participants cross timing points.
