Architecture Overview
RunScore splits into two programs — RSServer and RSClient — so multiple computers can work the same race at once. The server stores all data. Each client connects over the network to view and edit that data.

If RSClient can't reach RSServer, work through these checks in order. Each one eliminates a category of problem.
Security
RunScore's client/server security is opt-in. By default, anyone who knows the server's IP address and port can connect with no login. The features below add increasing levels of access control.
