Introduction
This submenu configures how the Enter/Edit Names screen looks and behaves, plus a few database-maintenance utilities scoped to it. Reachable from Tools → Enter/Edit Names.
Design Screen
Configure the Enter/Edit Names layout (WYSIWYG). Open Tools → Enter/Edit Names → Design Screen. Layout is stored in .frm (typically entries.frm); many validation attributes also land in {database}.val.xml (typically entries.val.xml).
Edit entries.ini update file
Opens entries.ini — the race's control file — for editing in a plain text editor.
Erase ALL names
Deletes every entry in the database. This is destructive and can't be undone.
Enter → Search
Checkbox. When checked and the cursor is in the bib number field, pressing Enter searches for that bib number — equivalent to pressing F3 without having to reach for a function key.
Edit Alt-Keys
Opens the KEYS file — a plain text file in the race folder — in RunScore's built-in text editor. There's no structured dialog; you edit the raw file directly, then save and close it like any other text file.
Edit Unregistered Runner
The only way to view or edit the record-0 Unregistered Runner Number (URN) entry — it's excluded from normal Enter/Edit Names navigation (PgUp/PgDn, search, etc.).
