Time Format

Syntax

Time Format format_string

Parameters

  • format_string: A string specifying the desired time layout. Supported values are:
    • SS, SS.1, SS.01
    • MM:SS, MMM:SS, MM:SS.1, MM:SS.01
    • H:MM:SS, 0:MM:SS
    • H:MM:SS.1, 0:MM:SS.1, 0H:MM:SS.1
    • H:MM:SS.01, 0:MM:SS.01
    • HH:MM:SS, HH:MM:SS.01
    • DD-HH:MM:SS
    • NONE

Description

Controls the display format for event times in a listing. This allows different formats to be applied to different events within the same report.

Remarks

The Time Format command must be placed after the Event command it is intended to modify. Using a format with a leading zero (e.g., 0:MM:SS) forces the display of the hour field even for times under one hour, which is useful for data exports. The NONE value suppresses the time display completely.

Examples

To format a time to show only minutes and seconds:

Event TIME
Time Format MM:SS

To apply different formats to different splits in a triathlon:

Event SWIM
Time Format MM:SS.1
Event BIKE
Time Format H:MM:SS
