How do I send my race to support?
Zip the whole race folder and email it. In Windows File Explorer, right-click the race folder and choose Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder, then attach the resulting .zip file to your email.
How do I erase all the names in a database?
Use Tools > Enter/Edit names > Erase ALL names.
Erasing removes every name in the database. See Erase ALL names for the prompts you'll see and what is kept.
Can I import names from Excel or another program?
Yes. In the other program, save the data as a comma-separated (CSV) file, then in RunScore choose File > Import and select it. File > Import Replace updates records whose bib matches and adds new ones; it does not erase the rest of the database.
How do I connect a serial timer to a computer that has no serial port?
Use a USB-to-serial (RS-232) adapter. It adds a COM port that RunScore can use for an external timer or push button. After you plug it in, check Device Manager for the COM port number Windows assigned, then select it when you initialize the timer — see External Timers.
